Central Coast Council take delivery of another TANA Landfill Compactor

The Central Coast is home to over 330,000 residents and with that population the Council receive about 450,000 tonnes of waste and resources per year, of which about 230,000 tonnes go to landfill.

Both the Woy Woy and Buttonderry waste facility's have TANA 52-tonne landfill compactors.

With the Council and its operators already very pleased with TANA Landfill Compactors when it came time for an upgrade an order was placed for another 52-Tonne machine towards the end of 2021.

Delivered to the Council at the start of March the TANA design uses a twin drum, rigid frame and crushing teeth. The result is an even spread of pressure and smoother more compact surface.

The combination of fewer passes and better compaction allows the Central Coast Council to manage their waste in a more efficient way making the TANA the perfect choice.
